Azamara Adds Australia to 2015 Programme, Extends 2014 Offer

Azamara Club Cruises has unveiled its 2015 itineraries, 52 sailings ranging from five- to 18-nights to some of the world’s most intriguing destinations including – for the first time – Australia in late 2015 with the Azamara Quest. The itineraries are now open for booking. Azamara has also extended its offer of a double upgrade to a Balcony stateroom and free or reduced-cost flights for selected 2014 voyages to bookings made and confirmed before 21st October 2013.

Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest will visit a total of 203 ports in 62 countries, including 16 maiden port calls. The new 2015 cruises include metropolises, colonial towns, beaches and natural preserves in South America, the Caribbean, Europe, the Far East and – for the first time – Australia.

On every Azamara voyage, guests can take advantage of longer stays and more overnights in port so they can experience the authentic nightlife of a destination. Guests also can delve deeper into each destination with AzAmazing Evenings, an inclusive evening event on each sailing that provides guests with an exclusive and bespoke slice of a destination’s authentic culture and character. In addition, guests can enjoy a wide variety of exclusive Azamara Land Discoveries shore excursions (for an additional charge).

Azamara Journey

Throughout spring 2015, Azamara Journey will sail 11- to 18-night voyages throughout Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina, the Antarctic Sound, Panama Canal and Caribbean islands, calling at ports that larger ships cannot get to. The 12-night Rio Carnival and Buenos Aires sailing overnights at Rio De Janeiro during the city’s world-famous Carnival, where Azamara Club Cruises offers prime seating in the stands of the sambadrome (for an additional charge) to witness the spectacle of competing samba schools. Azamara Journey also will make maiden port calls at Aruba and Curacao.

Guests have a choice of Azamara Journey or Azamara Quest for immersive European adventures throughout the summer and autumn. Azamara Journey will sail the Spanish, French and Italian rivieras, the Adriatic and Black seas, and Greek Isles on seven- to 16-night itineraries. The ship will call at Monte Carlo during the annual Monaco Grand Prix, where Azamara Club Cruises offers guests tickets for prime seating along the race route (for an additional charge). Maiden European port calls include Argostoli and Delos (Greece), Tarragona, Almeria, Alticante and Huelva (Spain), Stornoway (Scotland) and Cobh (Ireland).

Azamara Quest

Azamara Quest will sail the Baltic, North and Mediterranean seas on seven- to 18-night itineraries. Itineraries include calls to destinations that coincide with major seasonal events such as the 2015 British Open at historic St Andrews Links and the Sail Amsterdam Festival, a nautical celebration held once every five years.

Azamara Quest will offer sailings in Asia during spring and winter, visiting Southeast Asia, China and Japan. Osaka (Japan) and Bali (Indonesia) will feature as embarkation ports for the first time in February 2015. In late December, Azamara Quest will sail from the Bali Sea on a 14-night holiday and New Year’s cruise to Australia and the Barrier Reef. Guests will make maiden port calls at Puerto Princesa (Philippines) and Thursday Island and Darwin (Australia), as well as at Great Barrier Reef-destinations Cooktown, Port Douglas and Cairns (Australia).

Azamara Quest’s 14-night Bali and Barrier Reef sailing departs from Benoa (Bali, Indonesia) and calls at Lombok (Indonesia), Komodo (Indonesia), Darwin (Australia), Thursday Island (Australia), Cooktown (Australia) and Port Douglas (Australia) before arriving into Cairns (Australia). Cruise-only prices start from €2,930 per person based on two people sharing an inside stateroom (departing on 22nd December 2015).

2014 Offers Extended

Azamara has also extended its offer of a double upgrade to a Balcony stateroom and free or reduced-cost flights for selected 2014 voyages across the globe in Northern/Western Europe, the Mediterranean, Caribbean & Central/South America and Asia. The offer is valid on bookings made and confirmed before 21st October 2013.

Guests can take advantage of a complimentary double upgrade with bookings for accommodation in Club Interior staterooms converted to a Club Balcony. They can choose where to enjoy the view from their balconies with free flights for selected European departures and reduced-cost flights for selected worldwide sailings.

The added value offers continue with 25% savings on most ‘Land Discoveries’ shore excursions when booked online at least four days prior to the sailing and savings of at least €200 per stateroom when combining two or more voyages for a back-to-back adventure.
