Holland America Line’s MS Rotterdam Visits Dublin Port

The MS Rotterdam of the Holland America Line was just one of the 35 cruise ships listed to visit Dublin Port during the month of August. Obviously the marketing team from Dublin Port is doing a great job.

The Holland America sales and marketing team were also doing a great job as they utilised the ships visit to work with their top agents in hosting more than 100 agents and customers of these agents for a ship visit, including lunch and drinks onboard.

The Holland America fleet comprises 14 mid-size ships, with capacity ranging from 835 to 2,658 guests and offering a range of cruises across all the continents. The Rotterdam offers one of the highest guest to space ratios in its class -47.1 and is still one of the fastest luxury ships in the world, with a cruising speed of 25 knots.IMG_1383

The ship has a passenger capacity of 1,404 and was fully booked during her visit, which meant that agents and their guests were unable t0 view any of the 702 cabins and suites.

There were a number of ship visit offers for the trade, such as Rome to Rome for 12 nights on the MS Koningsdam on 30th September, with a lead-in cruise only fare from €1,099pp.South America from Buenos Aires to Valpariso for 14 nights on the 6th December, with a lead in cruise fare of €1,539pp.
