News eBulletins

ITTN’s News eBulletins are emailed twice a week to travel industry professionals, including owners, managers and staff members of travel agencies and tour operators in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. eBulletins deliver the latest travel news direct to their inbox and each news item clicks through to the full story on

Client eNews

ITTN’s Client-dedicated eNews enable clients, either individually or in partnership with others, to send their tailor-made newsletters (comprising six news stories and six advertisement banners, all with individual click-throughs) directly to the inbox of the same travel industry professionals.

Product eFeatures

ITTN produces monthly online Product eFeatures that are distributed to travel professionals throughout the island of Ireland – including travel agency owners, managers and staff, outbound tour operators, airlines and ferry companies serving the Irish market, tourist boards, and other industry suppliers, as well as specialist tour operators based overseas.

Social Media Platforms

The ITTN network includes two active Facebook pages and two Twitter accounts (for ITTN and The Travel Directory), as well as Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube accounts for ITTN.


ITTN online competitions can be used by clients to select participants for a fam trip or promote a destination, service or bookings to travel agency staff, or all travel industry staff, with prizes of the client’s choosing – from a €5.00 One4all voucher to an all-inclusive long-haul holiday for two.

Pre- and post-event coverage is provided online and on ITTN social media platforms.

ITTN+EMIRATES Travel Photographer of the Year

In 2015 ITTN teamed up with Emirates to launch the annual ITTN+EMIRATES Travel Photographer of the Year competition. Six finalists each receive a trophy and a voucher and the overall winner is presented with a trophy and tickets for two from Dublin to any destination on Emirates’ extensive worldwide network.

ITTN Awards

Since 1992 ITTN has been presenting the annual ITTN Awards – and these are highly sought after by travel industry suppliers because they are voted for by the travel agents of Ireland, North and South, with votes being independently audited by international auditors Grant Thornton.

This year’s 29th ITTN Awards will be held on Friday 27th November 2020 at the Clayton Hotel Burlington Road, Dublin 2.

The evening will include the presentations of the ITTN Industry Achievement Award, the ITTN Travel Agency of the Year Awards, the ITTN+EMIRATES Travel Photographer of the Year Award, and 22 Travel Category Awards.

In 2016 ITTN launched a new website, The website now includes over 1,400 listings in 25 supplier categories and presents the latest consumer travel news and a Deal of the Day. The website is mobile responsive and makes the world of travel just one click away – no matter where they are – for Irish travel industry personnel, holidaymakers and business travellers.
