18 World Travel Awards 2012 for Dubai

When the World Travel Awards 2012 were announced in New Delhi, India, this month, Dubai was voted as World’s Leading Sports Tourism Destination and World’s Leading Cruise Port – and no less than 16 other Awards went to companies in Dubai.

Among airline awards, Emirates won World’s Leading Airline Awards Programme, while dnata was awarded World’s Leading Air Travel Service Provider.

In the accommodation categories, two venues each won two awards: the Burj Al Arab was voted World’s Leading All Suite Hotel as well as World’s Leading Luxury All Suite Hotel, while the Kempinski Hotel & Residences Palm Jumeirah was awarded World’s Leading Hotel Penthouses and World’s Leading Lifestyle Residences.
