John is well known in the Irish travel trade having worked in the industry for many years, including holding positions at The Travel Corporation, Thomas Cook and Lastminute.com.

John is excited to get on the road and start educating agents about G Adventures’ nine different travel styles, which provide an experience of a lifetime for anyone looking for a cultural or active adventure.

“I am taking a new direction moving into adventure travel, and I am excited to get started. G Adventures does things differently, which is what drew me to the role. The ethos of the company is incredible in terms of giving back to communities in the destinations we visit. The social enterprise projects around the world we help develop and support, and our travellers visit, are truly inspiring.”

John will be working with the existing partners in both the north and south of Ireland, and will join forces with Sunway on a number of initiatives.
