Julienne to Explore the Rockies with Air Canada

You never know where you might end up when you attend the Irish Travel Trade Awards! Three lucky winners of raffle prizes – Julienne Curran, Jeanette Taylor and Tanya Airey – talk about their destinations.

Julienne Curran, Turkish Airlines (above, being presented with her prize by Bláithín O’Donnell, Sales Manager Ireland, Air Canada), won Air Canada’s prize of tickets for two to her choice of six destinations: Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Calgary or Vancouver. “I am absolutely delighted with the prize and will plan a trip for next summer exploring the Rockies from Vancouver to Calgary,” she told ITTN. “I love to hike so this is truly a fantastic prize from Air Canada and I look forward to exploring this magnificent region of national parks and alpine lakes. In terms of outdoor recreation it doesn’t get much better than the breathtaking wilderness of the Rockies so I am a truly grateful winner. Thank you Air Canada!”

Jeanette Taylor, Sunway, knows her destination because she won Aegean Airlines’ prize of tickets for two to Athens, but she is already making extra plans: “I haven’t decided yet on when I will go, but hopefully in June 2017 and I will try to incorporate the flight with our Club Med Gregolimano. I have not flown with Aegean Airlines before but am looking forward to it – I am over the moon!”

Tanya Airey, Sunway, also has a choice to make, having won British Airways’ prize of tickets for two to Bangkok, Singapore or Hong Kong. “I was absolutely delighted to win the British Airways tickets but have not yet decided where to go. I have been to both Bangkok and Hong Kong, so Singapore is looking good. I need to do some research on the destinations before booking. Decisions, decisions – but what a nice decision to have to make! Thanks BA and ITTN!”
