Air Transat Brings Back Dublin-Toronto Christmas Flights

Air Transat has announced that it will operate flights from Dublin to Toronto this Christmas, departing from Dublin on 20th December 2017 and returning 2nd January 2018, with return Economy Class flights from €450 per person.

All Air Transat flights include a 23kg allowance for checked luggage, meals and soft drinks onboard, plus in-flight entertainment.

Celebrating Canada’s 150th anniversary this year, Christmas in Toronto promises to be a great experience as the festivities reach a crescendo before the year’s end. The city certainly isn’t short of festive attractions and whether visiting on your own, as a couple or with your friends and family, you’ll be spoiled for choice.

Attractions include Toronto’s Christmas Market, which hosts an array of the city’s culinary delights, as well as local arts and crafts. It’s an ideal place to pick up a quirky gift or, for more conventional presents, the Toronto Eaton Centre, Toronto’s premier shopping mall, hosts a wide range of big-name international brands as well as Canada’s treasured favourites.

Nothing is more likely to get you in the Christmas spirit than visiting Casa Loma at this special time of year. To celebrate Christmas, Toronto’s castle is decorated with a spectacular display of lights, Christmas trees and illuminated swans, which are arranged on the frozen pond within the castle’s grounds for the public’s delight.

Lesley Kane, Air Transat, said: “Due to popular demand, we are pleased to announce additional capacity from Dublin to Toronto this Christmas. The timings provide the perfect opportunity for visitors to enjoy time with family or indulge in the city’s attractions. Passengers can add on Option Plus to enjoy extra luggage allowance if the Christmas shopping and sales prove too tempting.

“With the extension of the regular season from Dublin to Toronto into November and the Christmas flights, Air Transat is committed to providing excellent links between the city and Canada over the winter period.”

Air Transat offers flexible Eco fares, allowing passengers to make changes for free up to the day before departure. Passengers can also book Option Plus for more Economy Class benefits, or upgrade to Club Class, a separate cabin Premium Economy service.
