Aer Lingus Does Well in Guardian Travel Awards

Aer Lingus has been recognised in the 2013 Guardian, Observer and guardian.co.uk Travel Awards.

The airline came third in the ‘Best Economy Class Airline’ category, following Emirates and Singapore Airlines, making it the highest ranking European airline in the category. The Guardian travel awards are voted on directly by readers of www.theguardian.co.uk

Declan Kearney, Aer Lingus Director of Communications, said: “This is a huge endorsement of our service. We are particularly pleased with this vote of confidence as it comes directly from the travelling public. We have always believed in offering a better priced superior flying experience to our competitors, and it is great that this has been recognised today. We would like to thank all our loyal customers for who cast their votes for Aer Lingus.”
