Aer Lingus Seeks NI George Best Look-aLikes

Do you know someone in Northern Ireland who is the image of George Best? To celebrate its move to George Best Belfast City Airport on Sunday 28th October 2012, Aer Lingus has launched a competition to find the ‘best’ George Best look-alike in Northern Ireland.

The overall winner will enjoy a luxury trip for two in London including Aer Lingus flights and overnight accommodation in The Gore Hotel, a 5-star luxury boutique hotel in Kensington. Ten runners-up will receive a return flight to London.

A photograph is to be sent to competitions@belfastcityairport.com and the deadline for entries is next Thursday 25th October 2012.

On Friday 26th October Aer Lingus will announce the top 11 finalists who will make up the Team George Best.

Valerie Abbott, Commercial Manager Northern Ireland of Aer Lingus, and Brian Ambrose, Chief Executive of Belfast City Airport, will then choose their favourite George Best look-alike.

The overall winner will be invited to the launch celebrations at George Best Belfast City Airport on the morning of 29th October where Cool FM’s Pete Snodden will present them with their prize, live on-air.
