Aer Lingus plans to launch a new short-haul premium product later this year, entitled Aer Space. However, it will still be an Economy Class product. The Aer Space product is based on a deep research programme and will include the middle seat of three being left free, which will give the Aer Space passenger extra space and greater privacy while working on a laptop etc.
Other benefits include priority boarding, priority baggage, full flexibility, lounge access to Aer Lingus lounges, and complimentary inflight food.
