Amadeus Launches Integrated Booking Engine for Small, Medium-sized and Niche Travel Sellers

Amadeus today announced the launch of Amadeus e-Power in the UK. This fully integrated booking engine is designed to help travel professionals accommodate the demands of Internet-savvy consumers who want to research travel 24/7, yet who continue to value the personal service and specialist knowledge of small, medium-sized and niche travel sellers.

Amadeus e-Power offers scalable booking technology that is purpose-built for travel sellers to make their websites fully transactional without the headache or costs associated with implementing a more complex, completely customisable solution.

Amadeus e-Power is built on Amadeus Master Pricer technology, which is used by many of the biggest names in online travel. This enables consumers to find and book the best air fares including low-cost carrier content on any given date, as well as search for the best travel options on or around a given date (+/- 3 days) using Master Pricer Calendar. By adding e-Power to their mix of personal selling, smaller and niche travel companies are able to compete with bigger players in the expanding online travel arena.
