Anantara’s 2013 King’s Cup Elephant Polo Tournament

Anatara Hotels, Resorts and Spas has announced the dates of the highly popular King’s Cup Elephant Polo Tournament. This charity event, now in its twelfth year, has to date raised over US$600,000 to help Thailand’s elephants. This year’s event will take place in the Thai seaside town of Hua Hin from 28th August to 1st September.

The event has grown from a small two-day event in 2001 to one of Thailand’s major and internationally best known events. Last year’s tournament featured 12 teams, including teams from the New Zealand All Blacks rugby team and a team from the famous transgender cabaret at Miss Tiffany’s.
