ATF-2016 – Vietnam Continues Tourism Growth

Tourism to Vietnam in 2015 showed 7.94 million international visitors, a 1% increase and generating receipts of US$15.4 billion, showing a very positive trend for Vietnam tourism into the future.

Statistics from the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism show a 5.15% increase in visitors year-on-year in July.ATF 2015

Since 1st July 2015 Vietnam has allowed visa free entry for 15 days to visitors from the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Belarus. However, this means that Irish passport holders still have go through the time-consuming process. Under the visa on arrival system visitors must first pay a fee online and obtain a letter authorising entry into the country, and then pay an additional charge when they arrive in Vietnam.
