BA Adds Option to Save Credit Card Details

British Airways pasengers can now save their credit card details online at ba.com when booking flights. The new feature allows them to save details of up to nine cards in “a secure payment vault”, so that they can be accessed and selected at the time of booking.

Initially the service will only be available to those purchasing flights at ba.com or via a mobile device, but BA says it plans to extend the feature to purchases of Avios, pre-paid seating, excess baggage and upgrades “within the next few months”.

“Enhanced security settings have been used to ensure personal details remain safe,” the airline said. Customers can view, edit and delete their card details on a new ‘Saved payment cards’ page within ‘Manage my account’.
