Always innovative are the marketing gurus in British Airways. The airline currently has in service a small number of Boeing 747s that are still fitted with the old First product. Now BA has announced that it will no longer offer a First product on these aircraft, starting from 28th October 2014. The aircraft will instead operate in a new three-class 66J/36W/235Y configuration, with the old First seats being sold as Club World seats at Club World prices.
Meanwhile the new first will continue to be fitted to the rest of the long haul fleet.
