EasyJet increases its routes from Belfast International Airport to London to four today with the start of its new service to London Southend Airport, with a new fast rail connection to London Liverpool Street. There will be two flights daily from Monday – Friday; one flight on Saturday; and two flights on Sunday. Fares are from £20.99, one-way including taxes.
The first phase of a multi-million pound terminal at London Southend Airport recently opened, and a new train station is just a minute’s walk from the terminal. There are trains up to eight times every hour. Central London (Liverpool Street) is just over 50 minutes away, and the journey time to Stratford is only 40 minutes.
