Blue Insurances has announced an exclusive limited offer between its gadget insurance brand Gadgetinsurance.com and Vodafone Ireland. Gadgetinsurance will provide Vodafone Pay as You Go customers with an exclusive 20% discount for insurance purchased between 14th October 2013 and 14th January 2014.

A recent survey by Behaviour & Attitudes for Gadgetinsurance found massive growth in smartphone and tablet ownership in Ireland: 51% of those surveyed owned a smartphone and 19% owned an iPad / tablet. The survey also established that 55% of those surveyed did not currently hold insurance for any of their gadgets. The most expensive gadget that people own is their iPhone/smartphone and repairing or replacing a high-end handset can be costly.
