Brian Ingarfield has now joined CarTrawler as Chief Procurement Officer, having spent the past seven years as General Manager of Tour America where he successfully transformed business operations and delivered profitable growth during a period of challenging market conditions.
Prior to that, Brian held senior executive positions at Langdale Holdings, UPS and Mayne Nickless plc.
As CarTrawler CPO, Brian will be responsible for the development of the global car rental supply base to support the company’s ambitious plans for growth.
Speaking in Dublin today, CarTrawler Chief Executive Mike McGearty said; “CarTrawler works with in excess of 800 car rental agents all over the world. The mutually beneficial partnership that we enjoy with them is of critical importance to our business and has been one of the driving forces behind our significant double-digit growth in recent years.
“Brian has an impressive track record of building strategic alliances and I am confident that he will help us to reinforce the outstanding relationship that we have with our car rental partners.”
The appointment will facilitate the transition of Niall Turley, current CPO and CarTrawler co-founder, to a non-executive role on the Board of Directors.
