TAT Governor Suraphon Svetasreni said: “Thailand is very proud of the broad range of cultural, sports and special-interest events that highlight our culture and heritage. These festivals are held all through the year and throughout the kingdom. Many of them are unique to Thailand, such as wedding ceremonies on elephant backs and the colourful Loi Krathong festival.

“Since we launched ‘The Miracle Year of Amazing Thailand’ campaign last year, visitors from all over the world have participated in our colourful festivities. Everyone can enjoy these amazing experiences, many of which are unseen elsewhere.”
