CAR Issues New Travel Agency Licence

The Commission for Aviation Regulation has issued a new travel agency licence, while two others continue to be listed as expired at 31st October 2012.

The new licence, number 0724, has been granted to Travel Republic Ltd of Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey, England. The company has an Irish website which states: “With over two million holidaymakers booking annually through our websites in Ireland, the UK and Spain, Travel Republic is one of the largest and most well-established online travel agents in Europe. We have been successfully helping people book their hotels, flights and other travel arrangements for over 20 years.

“Our commitment to exceptional value for money, breadth of choice and gold standard customer service has established Travel Republic as one of the most visited travel agent websites in the UK and Ireland.

Expired TA Licences

Still listed as expired at 31st October 2012 are travel agency licences for French Freedom Holidays t/a Welcome France (0630) and Holiday Malta Company t/a Bellair Holidays (0693).
