CAR Issues Timetable for Autumn Renewal of Licences

The Commission for Aviation Regulation is inviting holders of travel agency and tour operator licences requiring renewal in autumn 2014 to read in full CN2/2014 and ensure that applications and any supporting documentation required are submitted on time to avoid levies that may be incurred. CAR Logo from Website

The key dates for submission of required data are:

Date Stage
Wednesday 16th July Opening of online licensing facility (LCS)
Friday 15th August Deadline for receipt of completed licence application at standard fee
Monday 15th September Date CAR aims to issue decision-in-principle letters for applications made by 15 August 2014
Wednesday 15th October 2014 Deadline for receipt by CAR of applicant’s bond for licence to be granted by 1 November 2014

LCS can be accessed here  (All those applicants renewing should be in possession of valid usernames and passwords) – in case of difficulties accessing the system contact the Travel Trade Team on or 01 661 1700.
