Celebrity Cruises Launches eXceptional eXtras Campaign

Celebrity Cruises is including complimentary classic drinks packages on selected 2013 and 2014 cruises, on bookings made in August and September 2013 – and offering weekly giveaways to agents. The complimentary drinks packages, worth up to €1,070, are part of Celebrity Cruises’ ‘eXceptional eXtras’ campaign and apply to cruises departing from a UK port of call. 

Further offers include free onboard spend of up to $300 for sailings of 10 nights or more on 2013 cruises and flights from as little as €169 per person to join cruises departing from European ports of call in 2014.

A dedicated online sales and marketing tool kit now available on www.cruisingpower.ie supports the campaign and details the offers, new prices and itineraries included. Agents can get in on the action with weekly giveaways including two iPad 4s every week.

Michael English, Head of Sales UK & Ireland, said: “This autumn Celebrity Cruises has unbeatable offers and rewards to ensure that the most stylish ships at sea are the most attractive to sell. Complimentary classic drinks packages, onboard spend and reduced flights are a great promotion for our trade partners to raise a glass to.”

Agents will also be able to capture cruise sales by highlighting some of the booking offers available to guests during the August campaign, including:

  • An eight-night Norwegian Fjords cruise on-board Celebrity Eclipse from €1,289 per person (Balcony stateroom) in May 2014 including a complimentary classic drinks package, flights from €169 per person.
  • A 12-night Immersive Wine cruise on-board Celebrity Infinity from €1,039 per person (Oceanview stateroom) in September 2013 including a complimentary classic drinks package.

The complimentary classic drinks package is applicable on selected ex-UK 2013 cruises (Oceanview stateroom or above) if booked before 31st August 2013 and on selected 2014 cruises (balcony and above) if booked by 30th September 2013. Including domestic beers, spirits, house wines, specialty coffees and soft drinks, the classic drinks package is worth up to $50 per person, per day.

For those booking 2013 cruises sailing from non-UK ports of call, agents will also have the added option of offering extras to guests such as onboard spend of up to $300 from interior staterooms on selected European, Australia & New Zealand, Asia & Caribbean sailings or reduced flights from as low as £169 for sailings departing European ports of call in 2014.

Offers include a 10-night Ultimate Caribbean Christmas escape on Celebrity Equinox from €1,669 (Oceanview stateroom) in December 2013 including $300 onboard spend.
