Celebrity Cruises’ new 2,918-passenger Celebrity Edge arrived at Florida’s Port Everglades on Monday 19th November 2018 after a 4,000-mile journey from the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in St Nazaire, France. Two events will mark the first Edge-class ship’s Western Caribbean and Eastern Caribbean inaugural sailings.

On Sunday 9th December, ‘Colours of Cozumel’ will feature the vibrant and dynamic traditions of Mexico. Onboard and dockside events will include a 12-piece Mariachi band, a Pool Deck Parade and dance party, and a dazzling show from a Mexican performance troupe, honouring some of Mexico’s most celebrated UNESCO-certified traditions.

On Sunday 16th December, ‘Festival de Encanto’ will honour the heritage and customs of Puerto Rico. Onboard events will include professional Salsa dancing and orchestral showcases, featuring the best of Puerto Rican music. Street performers and costumed entertainers will be staged throughout the ship. Authentic cuisine, onboard activities, merchandise and education opportunities will amplify the main events.
