Contiki All Set for Further Growth

Contiki All Set for Further Growth

Contiki has shown 140% year-on-year growth in the Irish market, said Donna Jeavons, Sales & Marketing Director for Europe, who flew into Dublin to announce that the company is dedicating more resources to the brand. “Contiki,” she said, “is all about the experience.”

“Contiki Holidays services the 18-35-year-old market with culturally enriching, fun holidays that range from quick breaks to epic journeys,” said Sharon Jordan, Country Manager, The Travel Corporation, Ireland. “Over the past five and a half years we have seen a significant growth with this product in Ireland, so it is with that in mind that we are delighted to be pushing Contiki forward even more. Contiki is a real winner for agents who are looking to tap into the lucrative youth sector, as it is such an easy product to explain, sell and book.

“I am personally delighted to introduce the trade to Donna Jeavons and James Lavin, the new Sales Manager for Contiki here in Ireland. I am sure you will enjoy getting to know James over the coming months and years. Contiki bookings will, of course, be made through our reservations team by free phoning 1800 98 98 98 and selecting Option 3.”

Donna Jeavons added: “This is an exciting development for Contiki and The Travel Corporation. We are keen to further expand the Contiki brand across Europe on the back of strong sales for the first half of 2016, and see Ireland as a key market in which to do this. James and I look forward to working closely with the trade.”
