I have to say I am still flabbergasted that there are no direct flights from Cork to either Dusseldorf or Frankfurt.

Several years ago these flights were in operation. There is a large population of German people in Cork; it is also a very popular destination for German tourists. Not to mention that there is no direct connection to the industrial and financial heart of Europe respectively.

Surely it is high time for Aer Lingus to evaulate operating a twice weekly service alternating between Dusseldorf and Frankfurt?
