The nomination is the second accolade for Lilibeth this year, who was highly commended in the Enterprising Women of the Year Awards, held in April.

Cork Airport Director Niall MacCarthy said: “We are absolutely delighted that Lilibeth has been nominated, which is truly an outstanding achievement. Cork Airport offers the highest levels of customer service to 2.4 million passengers across 50 routes every year and Lilibeth plays an integral part in delivering this quality of service. This nomination is a testimony to the hard work and diligence, not only of Lilibeth herself, but of all the retail team at Cork Airport.”

Lilibeth said: “I am absolutely thrilled to be nominated in these very prestigious awards. The nomination is a fantastic recognition of 14 years of retail service I have given to Cork Airport. Any manager can only be successful if they have a committed team and I am lucky to lead a motivated team of retail staff who treat each of our customers as their number one priority.”

Lilibeth has spent her entire career with Cork Airport, working initially in marketing for the airport and subsequently moving into a retail management role.
