Cork Airport celebrated after it was commended in Prague recently at the annual ACI Europe Best Airport Awards and was placed in the top three in Europe for customer service, facilities, retail, security, community relations and environmental awareness and operations.
Speaking after the gala dinner of the 25th ACI Europe General Assembly, Congress & Exhibition, Cork Airport’s Managing Director, Niall MacCarthy, was delighted that Cork Airport had been commended in the top three airports in Europe. He commented on being recognised by their peers in the aviation sector across the continent and praised his team who “consistently deliver outstanding service, every day of the year.”
He added: “As part of Cork Airport’s ongoing commitment to providing world-class customer service, we are continually looking to innovate and improve our facilities. We continue to develop our app, which has a unique flight tracker, and customer feedback terminals have also been installed at various locations in Cork Airport and these provide valuable information on the customer experience, from departures to the bathroom facilities.”
