Cork Airport Unveils its New Brand Identity and Message

Earlier this year, Cork Airport unveiled its new brand identity that underlines the importance of differentiating what makes the airport unique: its network of routes, its award-winning customer services and its position as the gateway to the South of Ireland.

The new brand represents the first-class, modern terminal along with capturing the unbeatable experience that is offered every day for passengers using the airport.

Niall MacCarthy, Managing Director at Cork Airport, felt it was time the airport had an identity that reflected the unique experience and personality of Munster’s favourite airport. As well as a new look, Cork Airport also brought the offering to life with the message ‘Fly Friendly’ included in the new brand.

The launch of the new Cork Airport identity followed a number of months of research and development. Kevin Cullinane, Head of Communications at the airport, said: “We wanted to ensure that our staff and passengers were involved in the evolution of the new brand, ensuring it reflects all that makes Cork Airport unique. We were delighted that there is so much enthusiasm and support for the airport and we are not surprised at the level of pride in our airport.”
