Dublin Tourism Merging with Fáilte Ireland

Dublin Tourism is being merged with its parent body, Fáilte Ireland, as part of the Government’s programme to reduce the number of agencies and quangos. Coaching Ireland has already been merged with the Sports Council, and Dundalk Port Company has been disbanded and its management transferred to Dublin Port.

The board of Dublin Tourism has been disbanded, and its staff are moving to Fáilte Ireland.
