Emirates has officially launched its Facebook page – attracting over 300,000 fans within the first three weeks.
A soft launch occurred on 25th March in preparation for the 2nd April launch of the airlines’ new global brand platform ‘Hello Tomorrow’. A series of teaser quizzes highlighting vignettes from one of the new TV commercials were featured, attracting more than 3,330 likes and 1,300 comments over a one-week period.
Meanwhile, Emirates customers travelling to the USA will soon enjoy seamless connections to a dozen US cities, after the airline announced the start of a one-way codeshare with JetBlue. The two airlines have been interline partners since 2010.
