A position as Key Account Manager – Corporate with Emirates in Ireland is currently available and the closing date for applications is Thursday 31st January 2013. Applicants must have the legal right to live and work in Ireland. Emirates will not provide or assist in obtaining a work permit.
Based in Dublin, the successful applicant will manage the key sales strategies and relationships with various market segments, including MICE, TMCs and SMEs, forming the pivotal communication point between the companies, and work with global key accounts to formulate joint medium term and annual strategies, jointly writing business/marketing plans outlining how the relationship will develop, with a focus on key corporate accounts.
He/she will implement business plans, monitoring and exploring opportunities throughout the year, and reporting progress at predefined intervals to key stakeholders, as well as ensuring product and segment awareness across the commercial organisation by developing appropriate literature and training. They will also be responsible for the successful completion of all global RFPs (Request for Proposal) and defining business processes to ensure profitability is maximised in line with the company’s overall objectives.
Applicants must have extensive experience in all aspects of the airline sales environment, with thorough knowledge of Corporate Account Management and handling of global RFPs. You must be able to communicate effectively at all levels, have advanced negotiation techniques and a high level of IT skills. You must also have a proven ability to lead and motivate a team and hold a valid driving license.
