Even More Quick-Hop Options to the UK Now Available from Cork

Cork Airport is building on its well-established routes into the UK. One of the recent additions is Southampton, an attractive port city that is also the ideal gateway to discovering the unique charms of the English countryside and the truly gorgeous towns and villages of Hampshire.

For an easily accessible break, Southampton offers nearby attractions including the New Forest, the picturesque cathedral towns of Winchester and Chichester, and the idyllic lanes and fields of the South Downs National Park. Great opportunities for sailing abound in Southampton, with many also travelling to the region to join an international cruise.

Leeds Bradford, another recent addition for Cork Airport, offers impressive Victorian architecture that is largely intact and easily explored on foot. The city also has a vibrant cultural scene and is home to both Opera North and the Northern Ballet. Leeds makes for a wonderful base to further explore the north-east and north-west of England and its regions of outstanding natural beauty, such as the Yorkshire Dales.

Cork Airport also has many flight options available to London with Aer Lingus and Ryanair. For more information on all the UK destinations available from Cork Airport, visit www.corkairport.com
