The Spanish Tourism Office, Fuerteventura Tourism Board, Aer Lingus and Sunway hosted a fam trip to Fuerteventura on 13th September. The group stayed in the 5-star Sheraton Fuerteventura Beach, Caleta de Fuste, and the 5-star+ Gran Hotel Atlantis Bahia Golf & Spa Resort, Corralejo.
Unfortunately, time was limited so the experience of swimming with the seals will have to wait for next time. Cian Scanlon, JustSplit.com; Maura Doran, O’Leary Travel; Amanda Buckley, Cassidy Travel; and Cynthia Fogarty, Skytours Travel, got up close and personal with the seals, who confirmed to them that Fuerteventura and the Sunway programme got their seal of approval too.
The rest of the group, including Kathryn MacDonnell, Spanish Tourism Office; Jeanette Taylor, Agency Sales Representative, and Anita Kelly, Product Manager, Sunway; Marie Grenham, Grenham Travel; Karen Byrne, Best4travel; and Marena Rohan, Ace Travel, looked on in amazement.
The group were delighted with the friendly hospitality from all involved on the ground. Fuerteventura has all that Irish clients want from their holidays: good choice of accommodation for all budgets, amazing beaches among the top 10 in the world, and an excellent range of cafes, restaurants and bars with great service.
