The Finnair team headed by Catherine Grennell-Whyte hosted their top agents to an in-depth briefing over lunch in The Ivy, Dublin’s trendy new restaurant. The airline is the first European carrier to operate the Airbus A350 XWB (the abbreviation stands for ‘extra wide body’) with a wider fuselage, quieter and offers a 25% improvement in fuel efficiency. Finnair offers three class options on the A350: Economy, Economy Comfort, and Business.
Catherine Grennell-Whyte said: “Finnair’s key USP in delivering the fastest connections from Europe to Asia will continue to take precedence next year. We can deliver to the consumer a half-day of time saving when travelling to Japan and destinations in China, Singapore and Thailand from Dublin. Summer 2019 will see an increase in frequencies to Asia with a 15% capacity increase to Japan and 12% increase to the greater China area.
