Fly from Cork to Even More Destinations in Spain this Summer

For those still in the process of planning their summer holidays, options in Spain abound. Cork Airport offers 11 different destinations to which they can fly directly. New for the summer season in 2016 are Madrid and Menorca.

The vibrant and dynamic city of Madrid is an ideal option for a summer break.   The Spanish capital has a strong reputation for showing visitors a good time. Getting around is easy, food options are plentiful and often inexpensive, and the nightlife lingers well into the early morning. Iberia Express will fly from 8th June operating every Saturday and Wednesday until 4th September 2016.

The sun-soaked island paradise of Menorca provides an ideal location for rest and relaxation. Some of the charms it has on offer include its traditional harbours, beautiful natural beaches, and old villages that still observe the traditional afternoon siesta. For those seeking more adventure, Menorca offers water parks, water sports, cycling, hiking, golf and much more. Lee Travel and Stein Travel’s charter series will operate from 25th June to 27th August 2016.

Passengers can consider other Spanish destinations for either a quick break or an extended holiday, including Alicante, Barcelona, Girona, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Malaga, Palma de Mallorca, Reus and Tenerife.
