Flybe from Cork to Cardiff Makes for Great City Breaks

Cardiff is a great city for long weekend breaks in a modern, lively city that has seen it become one of the UK’s top tourist city break destinations.

Cardiff offers an incredible selection of unique attractions, world-class entertainment and premium shopping, all within walking distance of the compact city centre.

Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, operates a year-round service from Cork Airport to Cardiff, with two flights each week on Friday and Tuesday, making it perfect for anyone planning a weekend break.

Summer is the best time to visit Cardiff as there are plenty of large festivals on offer, with al fresco dining and drinking becoming ever more popular due to large areas of pedestrianisation. The city centre has seen huge development over the past decade and is now considered one of the top ten shopping destinations in the UK.

Cardiff also has a reputation as a city of castles, having five different castles within its surroundings, so there is plenty to see and do.
