FlyCork.ie Offers Exclusive Holiday Packages

Newly launched website FlyCork.ie, a custom-built online solution developed by Travelfox in association with Cork Airport, offers sun destinations and citybreak deals from Cork Airport as part of exclusive packages – and is expected to sell inbound holiday offers for visiting tourists in the future.

FlyCork.ie enables people to book flights and accommodation as well as additional holiday requirements such as transfers, airport car parking and car hire. The website is the result of a partnership developed with City Airport Bremen and its FlyBremen initiative, which has been a success since it was launched in 2012. Initially and over the coming months, FlyCork.ie will generate outbound tourism, but it is expected to sell inbound holiday offers for visiting tourists in the future.

Niall MacCarthy, Managing Director at Cork Airport, said: “We are really excited about the launch of FlyCork.ie. It will have huge benefits for Munster holidaymakers; they will have access to the best-value holiday packages, whether they are looking for a sun holiday or city destination. The exclusive packages will offer everything from flights and accommodation to car hire and car parking.

“Cork Airport, like many other international airports, does not have its own sales and marketing channel. We have worked in partnership with City Airport Bremen to build a new channel for flights and holidays at excellent value based on the exchange of knowledge, experience and shared best practice.”

To celebrate the launch of FlyCork.ie, offers currently available on the site include seven nights in the Algarve from €249pp, Costa del Sol for €379pp or Lanzarote from €399pp. Citybreak offers include two nights in Amsterdam from €259pp, Barcelona from €309pp or Paris from €349pp.
