Frankfurt Airport Strike Continues to Friday

The German union for air traffic workers, GdF, has extended its strike action until 11.00pm on Friday 24th February. Due to the strike, flight cancellations and delays are likely to occur at Frankfurt Airport. Lufthansa cancelled 200 flights yesterday and expects to cancel a further 160 today. Passengers are being offered refunds or the opportunity to rebook free of charge for flights cancelled by the strike. Aer Lingus flight EI650 departed from Dublin this morning.
