Clodagh Connolly of Fahy Travel in Galway was nominated Best Overall Worldchoice Consultant – as voted by the consortium’s 26 preferred business partners. They also voted Abbey Travel of Middle Abbey Street, Dublin, as Best Overall Worldchoice Member.

In return, the Worldchoice members voted BookaBed as their Favourite Worldchoice Business Partner, and Audrey Headon of World Travel Centre as their Favourite Worldchoice Representative.

Worldchoice Ireland Chairman John Haynes, who will celebrate 50 years in the travel industry next year, made a special presentation to Marie Grenham of Grenham Travel, which celebrated its 100th anniversary this year – and Marie rightly received a standing ovation.
