Insight Vacations held its annual Global Sales Conference in Ireland this week and delegates from Insight’s selling regions, such as Australia, North America, Canada, and Singapore, flew to Dublin to attend. During the conference Insight’s new Europe 2014 brochure was launched. The new programme includes new itineraries such as Principalities of Europe, Country Roads of Croatia, and a 4-day mini trip WW1 Battlefields.
On the final day of the conference, representatives of the children’s charity Variety Ireland came along to receive over 100 gifts from Insight Vacations, each delegate having brought a toy from their home country. Variety Ireland was formed in 1954, and has made a real difference to children’s lives throughout Ireland.
“We are very grateful to Insight Vacations for shining some brightness into these children’s otherwise challenging lives,” said Doreen Smyth, Chief Barker, Variety Ireland. “We are going to distribute them as Christmas presents to 20 parents in each of five different schools with children with disabilities and special needs. Variety has spent almost 60 years helping sick, disabled and disadvantaged children in Ireland.”
