Holidays 4 UK in Administration

Holidays 4 UK in Administration

Ian Oakley-Smith and David Chubb were yesterday appointed as joint administrators of Brighton-based tour operator Holidays 4 UK Ltd, which also traded as Aegean Flights. Holidays4U sold budget holidays to the Bodrum and Dalaman areas of Turkey using charter flights operated by Turkish airline Onur Air.

Nearly 13,000 clients are abroad and estimates for the number of people booked to travel are as high as 50,000. The UK Civil Aviation Authority is currently repatriating clients abroad and most of those yet to travel will be protected under the ATOL scheme. However, flight-only clients may lose out.

Customers in Northern Ireland and Britain can call the CAA call centre on 0844 4933 037.
