Iberia Pre-Christmas Strikes Called Off

Following talks between the unions and Iberia management, six days of planned strikes have been called off. The disruption to flights was due to begin next Friday, then to be followed by five days of further action next week.

The unions have only postponed the strikes, as they did not want to inconvenience passengers over the upcoming Christmas holidays. This means that the potential for further strikes will continue into 2013.
