The Indian Ambassador to Ireland, HE Radhika Lokesh, said that India is a wonderful diverse tourism destination and suggested that, as such, it might take multiple visits to discover the various regions of this exciting country.
India is waiting to be explored, with a great range of historic and cultural attractions in rural and urban centres. This is probably best done by travelling on one of the great railways of this amazing country. The diversity will not be found in any other country in the world. Probably the best legacy of British occupation was that they left the English language to a large percentage of the population.
A good piece of advice if you are sending clients to India is to use a reputable incoming tour operator. This will enhance the trip to any of the 22 states of India.
