Intrepid Group has expanded its number of Business Development Managers across the EMEA region to meet the growing demand for small group adventure travel from agents. The operator has appointed John McGurk as Business Development Manager for Ireland and the South West of England.
John will be visiting stores across Ireland to assist with training, enquiries, bookings and any other support agents may need. Having started in the travel industry in 2007, John has a wealth of experience within the sector having previously worked for TUI and in the cruise industry.
He said: “I am really excited to be working as part of the Intrepid Group team. I have always been a huge advocate for their style of travel and admire the work they do with local communities and projects. The demand for authentic holidays is increasing among clients, and I can’t wait to work with agents to ensure their clients can experience this style of travel in the best possible way.”
Fam Trips
Intrepid Group is further building on its service for agents by extending its opening hours to 24 hours a day, seven days a week, as well as offering more fam trips to give agents a taste of product.
