This marks the second prominent appointment within Aer Lingus Sales because earlier this year Yvonne Muldoon joined as Director of Sales.

Yvonne said: “Jenny joins our team at a very exciting time for Aer Lingus as we continue to grow our network, increase our traffic to and from Europe as well as North America. In May we launched one of three new transatlantic routes for 2016, Los Angeles, and driving the message of Dublin as a leading gateway to North America continues to be a key focus. Jenny will lead the leisure team across multiple European sales regions and her extensive experience and understanding of the market will bring huge value to our team and the wider business.”

Jenny added: “I am delighted to join Aer Lingus and become part of such a dynamic and innovative global sales team. I have incredible passion for the world of travel and I look forward to bringing this into my new role at Aer Lingus.”

Ben Bouldin, Sales Director UK & Ireland, Royal Caribbean International, said: “Jenny has been an excellent brand ambassador for Royal Caribbean in Ireland and we are flattered that Aer Lingus has chosen to appoint Jenny as their new Head of Business Development with Leisure Sales. Everyone at Royal Caribbean wishes to thank Jenny for her passion and dedication to the brand over the last 10 years and wishes her well in her new role.”

Repro Free: Thursday 21st July, Dublin Airport:
Aer Lingus welcomed a piece of Irish aviation history into its hangar at Dublin airport today as it received a Douglas DC-3 aircraft hailing from the 1940s and 50s and freshly painted in the Aer Lingus livery of that era. The DC-3 was the fifth aircraft type to be operated by Aer Lingus in 1940 and at that time was part of a fleet of just 5, while today’s fleet now stands at 63 aircraft operating more than 100 routes to UK, Europe and North America. The DC-3 aircraft will feature in Bray Air Display and Foynes Air Show this weekend.
