Karen and Rachel Win Anthem of the Seas Competition

The winner of the Irish Travel Trade News competition for a state cabin for two onboard Royal Caribbean International’s Anthem of the Seas’ pre-inaugural cruise is Karen Whyte of American Holidays – and her guest will be Rachel McAnaspie, also of American Holidays.

Rachel McAnaspie (second left), and Karen Whyte (far right) American Holidays, receive their invites to Anthem of the Seas’ pre-inaugural sailing from Neil Steedman, Irish Travel Trade News, and Jennifer Callister, Royal Caribbean International

Karen’s entry was:
“I prefer to sell Royal Caribbean International cruises to my clients because the Sea is calling them and I want to make sure they answer it Royally.”

Rachel could have been a winner in her own right because her entry (with Karen as her guest – they agreed a pact before entering!) was:
“I prefer to sell Royal Caribbean International cruises to my clients because Carlsberg don’t do cruises, but if they did they’d be a Royal Caribbean cruise.”

ITTN and Royal Caribbean would like to thank all the travel consultants who entered the competition for an invite to experience the brand new Anthem of the Seas on its two-night ex-Southampton sailing on 18th April 2015. That so many of you used the “WOW” theme showed the success of RCI’s campaign – but it did help Karen’s entry to stand out from the crowd!
