Less Than One Year-to-Go for Silver Muse

Silver Muse is to launch in April 2017, taking in many of Earth’s most magnificent landmarks – including 52 UNESCO World Heritage Sites – during her inaugural season. Ultra-luxury cruise operator Silversea has launched a dedicated brochure, offering new details into the cruise line’s new flagship, and a dedicated website, www.silvermuse.info

In April Silversea celebrated one year-to-go until the christening of Silver Muse with commemorative events taking place onboard all eight of Silversea’s ships around the world – from the Amalfi Coast, where Silver Wind inaugurated her Mediterranean season, to Jaco Island in Timor Leste, where Silver Discoverer was exploring the natural wonders of Northern Australia.

Guests were invited to a special dinner showcasing culinary specialties that will be onboard Silver Muse, including specially created dishes from all regions of the world.

When launched in April 2017, Silver Muse will showcase world-class locations to those who sail during her inaugural season, including 52 UNESCO World Heritage Sites from ancient Greek temples through to historic Caribbean fortresses.

Launching from Monte Carlo, Silver Muse will spend the European spring and summer months in and around the Mediterranean, with 13 of her European ports of call offering UNESCO sites, including the Cinque Terre in Liguria, the Historic Centre of Rome, the Archaeological Site of Olympia, and the Tower of Belem in Lisbon.

Following her Mediterranean tour, Silver Muse will make her first transatlantic crossing, with North American UNESCO highlights including the historic district of Old Quebec in Canada and the iconic Statue of Liberty in New York City.

Even while she is on the move, Silver Muse’s UNESCO adventures don’t stop, because she passes through the Panama Canal on 18th October. Central Panama stretches out from the canal across three provinces and into two oceans, comprising everything from the lush mountains of the Cordillera Central to the beautiful beaches of the Pearl Islands in the Bahía de Panamá.

As Silver Muse reaches South America, World Heritage Sites in Valparaiso and Rio de Janeiro are certain to delight, with an intoxicating kaleidoscope of colour thrilling the senses with man-made and natural wonders.

Calling at 34 countries and over 130 ports in 2017 alone, Silver Muse will redefine ocean travel, enhancing the small-ship intimacy with spacious all-suite accommodations that are the hallmarks of the Silversea experience. The addition of Silver Muse will expand the Silversea fleet to nine ships, once again significantly raising the bar in the ultra-luxury cruise market.

Massimo De Caro, Silversea’s Global Head of Marketing, said: “We are incredibly proud to celebrate this wonderful milestone in the development of Silver Muse as we enter the final one year-to-go countdown. With eight restaurants, state-of-the-art technology and bespoke open air public areas, guests onboard Silver Muse are set to enjoy world-class levels of luxury as they explore some of Earth’s greatest treasures.”

Silversea has launched a dedicated brochure for Silver Muse featuring all itineraries of the inaugural season, along with new details on the ship’s eight exclusive restaurants, suites and innovative interior and exterior public areas.
