Lithuania Celebrates at National Concert Hall

Celebrating the accession of Lithuania to the Presidency of the European Union, the Lithuanian Ambassador to Ireland H.E. Vidmantas Purlys and his wife Dita Purliene welcomed guests to the John Field room at the National Concert Hall for a special concert starring world-renowned Lithuanian soprano Sigute Stonyte and pianist Jurgis Karnavicius – a wonderful husband and wife team who treated the audience to a most enjoyable musical experience.

The Ambassador complimented Ireland on the excellent job done in its term as President and hoped that the Lithuanian Presidency would deliver similar excellent results.
