Lufthansa Cancels 60th Anniversary Celebrations

Live coverage of the memorial service on 17th April 2015 at Cologne Cathedral in memory of the victims of flight 4U95245 will be broadcast, instead of Lufthansa’s originally planned 60th anniversary festivities.

Out of respect for the crash victims of flight 4U9525, Lufthansa is cancelling the originally planned festivities for the company’s 60th anniversary, which was planned for 15th April 2015.

Instead, Lufthansa will provide a live broadcast for its employees of the official state ceremony in Cologne Cathedral on 17th April 2015, where the bereaved families and friends will gather to remember the victims.
