Major Earthquake Strikes Japan Triggering Tsunami

A major earthquake measuring 8.9 has struck the north east of Japan triggering a massive tsunami. There is a tsunami warning across the whole Pacific with Hawaii in iminent danger in the next few hours. The west coast of the US, South America, Australia, China and Russia are all on alert. 4 million people in the Tokyo area are without power due to the shut down of nuclear power plants.
